A two piece thin walled 9.5" yellow brass bell and .562" bore handslide are the specs on this model. The Conn 88HCL features a special rotary valve designed by famous trombonist Christian Linberg. Mike, you have my sincere appreciation for doing the valve alignment / tune up on my Schilke X-3... The model 45 is a special order dual bore small bass trombone.
